Rabies Vaccination Clinics

The Columbia County Department of Health will be having a FREE Drive-Thru rabies clinic on Wednesday, June 5th from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at the PJ Keeler Training Facility (50 Grandinetti Dr., Ghent, NY 12075).

This clinic is for cats, dogs and ferrets at least 3 months of age. Donations are not required but will be accepted and appreciated to help offset the cost of the vaccine. Animal breeders MUST use their own Veterinarian for rabies vaccines.

Please bring proof of prior rabies vaccine with you on the day of the clinic. This will ensure that you get a proper expiration date for the animal.

2024 Rabies Vaccination Clinic Schedule

The Columbia County Department of Health’s 2024 rabies vaccination clinic schedule is here! Clinics are for dogs, cats and ferrets at least 3 months of age.

Rabies vaccination clinics are scheduled as follows:

  • Saturday, April 20th from 2:00 – 4:00 PM with Dr. Melissa Clay
  • Wednesday, June 5th from 5:00 – 7:00 PM with Dr. Alan Topal
  • Saturday, September 7th from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM with Dr. Bernardo Mongil
  • Saturday, October 5th from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM with Dr. Elaine Tucker

All clinics will be held at 50 Grandinetti Drive, Ghent, NY 12075.
